Norris McLaughlin Welcomes Associate to Pennsylvania Office

The law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., is pleased to welcome Molly Renee Williams as an Associate.  She joins the firm’s Business Law Practice Group.

Williams has experience drafting and negotiating complex contract licensing agreements, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency in the contract creation and approval process, and assisting in trademark applications and nonprofit formation forms.

Molly’s extensive experience with The Boeing Company and Amazon.com will be an excellent complement to our firm and will also provide a terrific resource to our valued clients,” said Co-Chair of the Business Law Group, S. Graham Simmons III.

Prior to joining the firm, Williams was a Contracts Manager with Amazon.com, Inc., working as a contract licensing subject matter expert for the Alexa Global Data Acquisition Program.  She also was an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Senior Contracts Specialist, handling operationalized statement of work creation for AWS Professional Services and AWS Legal, including providing input to support development and roll out of new global process to simplify contract workflow. Williams also worked as a Contracts Manager and Intellectual Property Licensing Manager at The Boeing Company where she drafted and negotiated contracts and licensing agreements for aircraft related products, services, and intellectual property.

Williams earned her J.D. in 2012 from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where she earned Dean’s Scholar and Lightfoot Franklin & White Legal Writing Award for Best Oralist. She was involved in Moot Court Competition, Phi Delta Phi, and Black Law Student Association. Williams received her M.B.A. from Simon School of Business – University of Rochester, with a concentration in finance, in 2015.While earning her M.B.A., she was a member of The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellow, Forté Fellow, and Vice President of Internal Communications Graduate Business Council. She received her B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from the University of Rochester in 2007, where she was on Dean’s List, earned First Place Speaker Novice Policy Debate at John Carroll University Debate Tournament, and earned Third Place Speaker Novice Policy Debate at the 2004 Russell D. Martin Tournament, Cornell University.
